1. Who we are

Qala Store («متجر القلعة») is an app that connects you with local shops and small businesses in your town so you can order from them and have your order delivered. It is operated by Mustafa M. Atallah as an individual in Iraq ("we"). By signing in you accept these terms and the privacy policy.

2. We are only an intermediary

The stores are the sellers: they set the products and prices, and prepare, deliver and collect payment for orders. We only provide the app and are not a party to the sale.

3. Age and account

  • You must be 18 or older, or use the app with the permission of a parent or guardian, who is then responsible for your use of it.
  • You sign in with a Google, Apple or Facebook account. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your phone secure.

4. Orders

  • Prices are in Iraqi dinars and set by the store. We check them and product availability when you place your order; if anything has changed, we update your cart and show you what changed before you confirm.
  • Your order is an offer to buy sent to the store, and is not accepted until the store accepts it. If the store does not respond within the set time (currently 30 minutes), the order is rejected automatically.
  • If you order from more than one store, your order is split into a separate order per store, each with its own delivery fee and outcome.
  • A store may reject your order, or cancel it after accepting for a reason such as a product running out or being unable to reach you. We will tell you, and why.

5. Cancelling an order

You can cancel an order in the app while it is waiting for the store to accept it. After that, contact the store directly with "Call the store".

6. Delivery and payment

  • The store delivers your order itself or through its courier to the address you choose, for a flat delivery fee shown before you order.
  • You pay cash on delivery: the amount shown on your order in the app (products plus delivery fee), and no more. If you are asked for more, tell us.
  • Be available at the address and phone number you chose at delivery time.

7. A problem with your order

If you receive a product that is wrong, damaged, expired or different from its description, contact the store first; it must replace it or refund its price. If the problem is not resolved, tell us and we will pass your complaint to the store and take action against it where needed. We do not pay refunds ourselves.

8. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • Place fake orders, or order intending not to accept delivery.
  • Repeatedly refuse deliveries without a reason.
  • Abuse stores or couriers.
  • Misuse the app or try to disrupt it.

We may suspend or block any account that breaks these rules.

9. Ownership

The app, its name and its design are ours. Store content (names, photos and products) belongs to the stores.

10. Limits of our liability

We provide the app as it is. We work to keep it running without interruption but cannot guarantee it. To the extent permitted by Iraqi law, we are not responsible for the quality or safety of products, delivery delays, the actions of stores and their couriers, or disputes between you and a store.

11. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from "My account" → "Delete account". Your current orders are cancelled, and the privacy policy explains what we delete and what we keep.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. We will update the "Last updated" date and announce important changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after they take effect means you accept them.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws in force in the Republic of Iraq. The Arabic text is the binding version; the English translation is for reference only.
